OK Here ya go! First is a mack superliner from Italeri, it is getting a detailed chassis, running all air lines and I am changing the engine over to a L10, all fully detailed. This is a long term project that sits and then gets worked on for a bit then it sits again. This is a 49 foot itelari trailer for my LTL 900, it is pretty close to finnished, needs the lights, I am getting those from Dan at www.dansmodeltruckworld.com it already has the glad hads from there. This is a K-123 that is getting close to finnished, I am going to chage it to a single stack, and take the straight pipes off it, going for more of the fleet truck look with it. This is a scratch buitl lowboy, will have a 2 axle jeep in front and be 4 axles in the rear, will have real wood flooring and will be air ride axles. Also in the pic is its load a payhauler. Hope you all like what I am up to! Jim

Hmm, let's see. I have my Tandem axle daycab Astro from the last CBP to finish, a Peterbilt 358, my Freightliner drom, my Ford Louisville Hot Shot tractor, and a Kenworth W900 Aerodyne(Monogram's snap KW) that are in the works. The Astro will probably be the first one done, as it's not far from completion. I still have to decide on a trailer for it, though. The Pete is coming along nicely, with the frame being pretty much done. The Ford will not have hinged doors, as originally planned. I will use that cab(already cut up) on another project. I added lots of details to this truck already, so I can skip the opening cab doors for now. I still have some info to gather on the Freightliner drom, so I don't see that one being finished for awhile. As for the KW, that is a model of my favorite truck, so I've been dying to build it. I figured a fresh project would be a nice change, as I usually restrict myself to not starting a new one until incomplete projects are finished. I also have to Macks from my teen years to restore, which include my Mack R that was the first truck I ever built, and a Cruiseliner I built when I was 15. I have a few trailers to restore as well.

It's good to have a few projects going at once, but like others, I'm finding a lack of time for building.

Boy, some of you have way too organized benches. I clean mine up and it seems like gremlins just get everything back out and scatter it around on me.

I have been told that a clean bench is the sign of a sick mind. ;D ;D If that's the case then I have a real healthy mind. I don't know how you guys can work on more than one model at a time. I can barely keep track of what I'm doing with one. Win

LOL @ Win !! I must be really sick then!! After every work session I always clean my bench and re organize everything. I've always been pretty anal about that kind of stuff. I had two customs agents search my truck once coming into canada and the girl inspector made the remark after they were done that I had the cleanest and neatest truck they have ever inspected!! LOL. Thats just the way I am. By the way Win, I've yet to read your emails fully about making decals. I will though. You took the time to help me and i appreciate that very much. I just haven't had time as of latley. I want to have everything together so when i do read it i can experiment with them. And besides, Dan @ Dans model truck world still has my only set of original decals that he was going to reproduce for me, but after waiting a mere 6 months, I figured I'll never see them again. it's a shame too, because they were old original decals and I 'll never get another set to put on my pulling tractor. On another note, I think that's why it takes me so long to finish something because I have more than 1 thing going on instead of concentrating on just one project.

I used to be really strict about not starting a new project until one was completed. However, after awhile, I realized that ideas change mid-project, and sometimes, if I stuck that strictly to one thing, I might suffer a burnout from it. Also, you might have parts to cast/buy/scratchbuild/etc, that may slow down a project. To me, it just kept things exciting. My Pete 358 is an example of having a project that I work on when I need a break from others due to frustration. In the end, I think it just depends on the builder.

I'll admit that if I'm at the tail end of a build, like waiting for paint to dry I'll start another kit but then when the first one is ready to put together or whatever needs to be done to finish it, then the second kit goes back in the box so I can finish the first one. Sounds like Who's On First doesn't it.? Anyway you guys have some good lookin' builds going, no matter how many you are doing at once. Win
