Guy's... Haven't posted any pictures in awhile..Though I would share a few... These aluminum rims (rear pictured) are for the Mack DM600 Triaxle mixer that I am in the middle of..(earlier posts)...All aluminum rims/wheels front and back...these are from the Mack Cruiseliner kit..de-chromed, sanded, primed, clear gloss black coat..Alclad II polished aluminum...turned out pretty good..and if you look close enough..you will see the "blue" Alcoa logo... Most of you know I make my own decals..BUT these small ones.. The truck is about 85% complete..just waiting for parts..I'll post some more here in the near future... Thanks, Kurt McLucas

Ron....
No I did not clear coat the black...I use the Alclad Gloss Black as a base..or sometimes the Tamiya TS-14..or any good automotive gloss black..just make sure you have a good primer coat underneath it..and no little particles..dust/dirt..in the black..it will show up in either the Chrome or polished aluminum result(s)...
The pictures do not do these rims justice....Kurt McLucas
