I have a resin STS FWD cab and an AIT B-61{?}{hk-7 part #} mack cab that need a frame. What are good donor kit chassis candidates for each cab...or just about any resin cab truck build...am planning on scratching a L1000 dodge daycab somewhat soon and that will need a donor chassis too. Are wheel/rim types that special to each build as well...given oem options or aftermarket addable?

i will be getting the AITM Mack C-600 cab & will be using a re-release DM-600 chassis(i'd have thought they would be an ideal donor for a Mack kit?). i have used a GMC Astro chassis for my Diamond T 1000 build(see it "in the shop")so it should be suitable for the Dodge or you could use the Diamond Reo/White Western Star/White Road Boss chassis. there is an AITM Dodge CNT 900/1000 also "in the shop" using a Diamond Reo chassis as donor, hope this helps  |

The dm-600 will be good for the B-61, the only other thing you will need is the correct front wheels .
