Hey guys, as some of you know, I'm just a rookie at this stuff. I only have one kit completed under my belt and that is the Revell 359. I kind of half-arsed that kit accidentally. I got excited at the end and forgot to paint a lot of stuff. Right now, I'm working on three projects, the Dodge L-700 kit with the trailer and the 40 Ford, the old AMT Freuhauf flatbed and the AMT DM600. I just wanted to know if you guys had any tips, hits, or suggestions for these kits.
Thanks guys.

first and foremost--TAKE YOUR TIME. Alot of guys here spend weeks and months working on some projects. I'm somewhat faster, but my trucks lack a lot of detail compared to others. Don't be afraid to experiment. Second--check out other builds--use them for reference, study them well, then apply what you've learned to your next build. ALWAYS test fit, scrape the chrome where glue is to be applied, and the same goes for paint. I'm sure others here have more tips than I do, so keep checking and studying. Good Luck.

For me, I had to set boundaries. Reseach and figure out what you want out of your truck and stick to it! It's very easy to go overboard on a truck and changes on the fly is where you will make mistakes.
