I have not tried the alcad paint yet but I have used a soft tooth brush and soap and water to take off just the decals if you are wanting to save the paint if not then good old pine sol will take off the paint and decals just soak in a tub of pine sol over night than just wash it off........................

72kw... I am a big "fan" of the Alclad paint. I was gun shy at first to use it..but after a fair amount of research, and asking members on another forum (before this forum existed)..I just love the stuff...bit pricey though..but well worth it in my book. Look in the Finished showroom..I have my Pete 357..all the chrome was stripped, then primered, a gloss black base coat applied..and then polished aluminum/chrome applied with my airbrush...here is a link that will come in handy for you...Good Luck Kurt McLucas www.alclad2.comwww.alclad2.com/alclad-home.html
