What if any aftermarket cabs will work on a L700 frame.I'm thinking of the low forward style. How many L700 parts are useful on a dodge conventional conversion cab.

.I know the Ford C600 cab fits..the l 700 is a mediun duty truck and the cab is based on the 'compact A100 truck.None of the cab parts match the conventional cab,and I believe the chassis would have to be heavily modified for a conventional cab. Paul

I already have a C800 tractor.I was thinking more along the lines of vintage macks, whites, autocars or the 38 international shown in the emergency vehicles page.I don't know what cabs are available or who makes them.I figure a 60's medium duty will be about right for a vintage heavy duty truck.

The 38 International is mine and was way to narrow for the Dodge frame, but a late 40's to late 50's cab will work. For a few coe's, do an evil bay search in Toys for COE there is a seller who does a 57 Dodge medium duty coe , a 53 /4 Ford F 6 and a 53 /4 Chevy medium coe. The 38 International needed ALOT of clean up to look as good as it is. Paul
