Went to the local plastic kit and toy show this weekend. Haven't been there for years{2-3} and while the semi or trailer sellection was less than desirerable{I think I bought most of what was there} I did run into a gentleman from STS at the show. Explained my email to them{STS} a month or so ago and how I contacted Mr Griffen about him making a cab for me and he said he'd do it "as soon as he got materials"...I was informed by the STS guy that Mr Griffen is and will be "incompasitated" for a while. I was afraid to ask...so I didn't. One slim ray of hope is that the guy from STS said he's "got some new things coming out fairly soon"...so watch STS for whatever it/they may be{he wouldn't say there}.

I agree- it does look like the Astro was the donor kit.
