Guy's..
Just starting, or should I say "toying" around for possibly the next build. I am considering a GMC 9500 conventional (short hood version). I have seen the resin reproductions once floating around on Ebay..I know Dave Natale has the long hood version...Anyone that has a lead or possibly one...let's talk.
GMC 9500 with a 20-25yd Dempster Garbage truck body. It might a single axle..possibly tandem..Also any suggestions on a donor kit for the chassis...I have some idea..Always looking for imput. Thanks

Hi,Like you I am going to build a GMC 9500 Tandem Dump Truck. The only place I seen one was for the long nose version from AITruck models.I contacted Mr.Natale and he has a mold for a S/N version and he cast it for me.There is a problem with the casting but I felt it was something I can repair. So I bought it,if you ask him maybe he'll do another, can't hurt to ask.

here's what I got from Dave. The short hood is a thick casting, but workable. The long hood is a thinner cast than the short hood.
