Im glad in way it was delayed, I was able to preorder one today at a great price yet (under $40) I think it will be a good canidate for some mild bashing to mate up with my AMT lowboy which will probably get some mild bashing also.

Where are y'all preordering these kits? My LHS said he isn't going to bother with getting any in simply because they won't sell. I guess his $45 price tag on the Revell snap Pete kit has discouraged him from getting any other big rig kits. I would really like to pick up a few of these trucks as their kit bashing possibilities are endless.

$45 for a snap kit! What was he thinking? Thats like trying to sell 2 ea Heller, 1/43 scale Kenworth's for $108.00... oh, someone is on e-bay trying to do that.

Only difference between the original and the repop is The rear spoke wheels were chromed in the repop. Other than that its identicle to the original.
