Would there be any interest in simple line art of a basic truck (both COE and "regular") to see how a paintscheme will look?
it would be a matter of printing it out, and coloring it in (think of it as a "grown up" coloring page  )
I was thinking of how to test easy paint scheme ideas and i came to this...

some one did this for the astro cbp i believe. I thought it was a cool idea since your not painting and then striping the paint if you don't like the scheme.

it is a great idea Phil! Feel free to take the ball and run with it! No reason why we can't have various trucks done up and a special place here on the forums where members can go and download the truck of choice to practice with on paper first!

Sorry again

I think its a good idea!! Can't wait to try them out. Most of the time I sit and stare at a unpainted truck trying out ideas in my head. Trying it out on paper first would be very helpful with deciding on what scheme and colors to paint. Let it rip man!!

I have a couple of Pete drawings that I have drawn with a big sleeper and a couple I got off the internet if you want me to post them in this thread.

works for me, i was going to just do up some side views in illustrator, of a COE, conventional with day and sleeper cabs.. i figure from there everyone with a pencil can add on whatever they have done with their builds and add color combinations they want to try.
