Looks pretty good. does the hood actually slope back towards the cab, or is that just the lighting?

Thanks all for the nice words. Mark, what did I miss? The airlines? You got to tell me so I can sleep tonight. Dave

Dave
its missing a stinger out the back of the frame so the trailer will steer correctly. I don't put air lines on my log trailers either. When I find something that will coil nicely I will but till then I am going to leave them off.

Jeeze Mark you are right. I feel very stupid right now. I know better than that. I started this truck out to be a dumptruck and than changed my mind in mid build. Honestly I was having a hard time building this truck with the air bags, but I did not have any other suspensions laying around so I built it box stock. I just lost my focus. I should do a fix on it this fall. Thanks Mark for pointing it out, like I said before I need all the help I can get. Dave

Dave Im just trying to help. If you need parts like suspension email me directly I bet I have them. I know I have at least 3 Hendrickson spring like you were probably wanting for your Pete. I remember seeing air ride ocationally on log trucks in the 70s and 80s but near as much as you do now. Mark

Great Job on the pete. Mark is right about the stinger. But other than that I see ony one other small detail you missed on that peerless set up. Other than that it is a great build in two toned Brown. Looks like a lot of the Gypos around here. Great Job.

Thanks Mark I will take all the help I can get. We have an 81 pete at my work that has air bags. It really is not a very good set up for what we do, but thats how we bought it. Any way if you see something i am doing wrong let me know. Dave

Are you going to run the stake jack Cables on the bunks or leave them as welded units? Just curious as that is an older peerless loging setup. Still a first rate and beautiful model.
