Folks,
I build big rig models with the goal of collecting all the different makes and models of diesel engines. I have now collected 1/24 and 1/25 scale truck models containing 18 different prime movers. But I am not sure if I have maxed out this number; are there in fact more than 18 types available (including both old and new kits)?
I did some research, based on my own kits, and also the fotki instruction postings, tabulating all the different OEM engine manufacturers and models. Below is the list that I was able to assemble. I'm not sure if someone else on this forum has already created a tabulation like this, but I am tossing it out to the community for your edits. What have I missed, or gotten wrong? I would like this to be as comprehensive as possible - your help would be appreciated. Below you will see my alphabetical listing first by OEM, then engine model, then the listing of specific kit manufacturer and truck model.
