I saw this list o another board, and I thought you guys might enjoy it:
..., you would rather spend money on a model rather than a girl
... your basement has a bigger stock of kits than your local Hobby shop
...you grudge spending £25 on a new pair of trainers but do`nt bat an eyelid at spending £65 on a new model kit.
...your laying in bed critiquing your modeling day and planning for the next day
...you arrange your work shifts to a 17:30 hr double shift so you have the extra 1:15 hr of travel time to model
...you see a dirty car and you think "Nice weathering"
...your modelling area gets more alone time and TLC than your wife/partner does
...things go wrong and you sacrafice a kit to the god of plastic..
...you are reading this at 12:30 and have to get up at 05:00 to go to work!
...you're more intimate with a figure from Bravo 6 than the figure of your sweet heart
...you roll over and wake your wife at 3 in the morning and tell her that you think you worked out how to make the cockpit glass fit on that old Monogram P-61 !!
...you are stretching a piece of sprue to make an antenna with and you think that the smell of melted styrene mixed with the smell of Model Master glue and Tamiya paint would make a nice aftershave scent.
...the population of your figure stash is larger than the population of the town that you live in
...you realize that most of the boxes crammed into your attic/garage are not full of Christmas decorations
...you have more kits in the closet that food or clothes.
