Hey guys, I just got the Trumpter ALF Eagle fire pumper for $53.00 I need reference pix of what is in all of the cabinets and the fresh link to the model fire house proboard please. I plan to super duper detail this kit with all the bells n whistles. Will be painted either baby blue and white to represent a Geistown Pa truck or Purple with flames to represent a Grapeville Pa truck. ALso, need reference pix for use with the Italeri White Western Star Road Commander heavy wrecker kit. Also have an AMT Peterbilt 359 wrecker idea floatin around in my head 3 drive axles with working everything Its still in idea stages. Also got the Chevy Titan and White Freightliner cabovers for $51.00 total Need a Peerless log trailer going to use a Pete 359 with a Peerless logger and an Italeri boom crane to use to load the trailer? My GMC Astro 95 is about 2/3 done cab is in paint as is alot of misc arts in other colors. I cleaned up/assembled a good bit of an AMT Fruehauf flatbed trailer today that will go with the Astro Both will be in yellow trailer load is unknown at this time. Any links, ideas or info concerning the above minagery would be most appreciated Thanks for reading George

Have a look over at The Scale Firehouse for the ALF. Those guys over there REALLY know their stuff.

The cabinets in the ALF kit can be filled with just about anything you can imagine. There is really no set way to equip the compartments or any real specific order. Each department pretty much configures their truck for their own ease, practicality and needs. For example, one comapny may keep their air paks in a forward left comaprtment while another department may put them on right side somewhere. Another thing to keep in mind is that many truks these days are custom built to each specific department's needs. There may be a base model, but compartmentization may be modified to meet that particular department's needs. If you are trying to model a 1:1 truck, the best thing to do is take TONS of reference pics to assist you in your build. Hope this helps.
