Hi everyone,
Great site! I believe the models you guys build! I never built anything like that! Anyway, I was going through my old collection of car models in the basement, and came across(forgot I still had it!) an AMT- 501 Peterbilt "California Hauler" kit(opened, but not built; parts are all still in the plastic). I used to build alot of the AMT truck models back in the early 70's(I was 10-12 years old). Wish I kept some of the assembled ones. After I found the Peterbilt, I got the bug again! Are there any books or other links about building these great models? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! One of your best sources is right here. Look though the "How do I..." section, and ask questions. Looking forward to seeing that Peterbilt.

Welcome! Wow, true classic - an early AMT "California Hauler"! Another place to get some good building information is the "in the shop" section here showing in progress photos & info.
