Here are a couple of pics of my current project. You will notice the support legs in the 2 pictures... I made them so I could pose them for dioramas in the support and transport mode. This is an AI truck kit and the template for the windshield was not very accurate. I am having a very hard time with this... anyone know a secret to this

Olny thing I can think of is make a new template using index cards. Then when you got it the way you like it transfer it to thin clear plastic. Just a suggestion.

Craig, This is simular to the Chevrolet you built. I may end up making this a flat bed and using a towing pintal to pull my trailer w/ my J.D. backhoe and pipe load. Got to scratch build part of that trailer for sure.

The rolling chassis is all AMT Diamond Reo. The fuel tanks come with the Dodge resin cab from www.aitruckmodels.comToo bad this resin cab dose not open to reveal the engine. These trucks had a unique way they opened for servicing

Finaly an update to this project. I cleaned the bench and broke out the paint. I got the cab 2 toned like I wanted it. It has spent the good part of the afternoon in the food dehydrator curing the paint. The white roof and fenders were painted first and dried for 2 hours in dehydrator. Masked and shot the turquoise paint and will dry that for another 2 hours.
