Guy's... Here are the last of the "teaser" photo's I will post, Until the complete rolling chassis is complete with hood and cab. The dump bed..is still in the "body" shop... All the chrome was stripped and then repainted with Alclad II, chrome..the front grill was done using the real wire mesh from the Can-DO wrecker kit..along with the Peterbilt decal emblems..the flame under the emblem is from KFS/WhiteFang Enterprises...and the fender extenders and flaps are of real rubber material. What a fun Saturday project.. Thank you to all for the "great" comments..It means alot coming from this group of excellent builders. Kurt McLucas

Outstanding so far Kurt. Just one quick question though. What is the string stretched across the bottom of the hood that looks like it's attached to the hinges? I love ther color choice and am really looking forward to seeing this truck in all it's glory when it's completed. Don't keep us in suspense for too long!!!

Bri,
The string was used to bring the hood into "allignment" when placing and securing the grill...it needs to be cut-off now.
This hood was so "warpped" out of the box. Lots of twisting, using the hair dryer..to heat it up..and finally I actually had to "crack" the drivers side of this hood..this of course was all done prior to painting..with the cab in place she lined up like a pro..
