ive got a dodge L700 kit im building and the paint just will not completely dry. I thought that after like a month it was dry, so i went ahead and did some detail paint on it. when I set it down I had a big ol finger print in the roof I decided not to try to fix it, it has the windows glued in already ect. SOOO my question is has anyone else had problems with this? I did not prime, and the plastic soaked up the color like a sponge so im wondering if it is a reaction or if i did not get the paint mixed well enough on one of the coats. it is an enamel spray bomb paint that I have used on other models with good luck. im sure somebody here will have some input on this

chris2,
First of all...a good rule of thumb...I would "primer" everything.
Your "enamel spray bomb" might have reacted with the cabs "plastic". And this kit I understand may come in two different shades, from being molded. Not knowing the brand of your paint, and what it is composed of...alot of different senarios and possibilities cross my mind.
Again..primer is the key...I normally use Duplicolor automotive primer.
Sorry this happened to you..Good Luck going forward.
