1. What adhesive would work best to adhere the inner sidewall?
2. The "factory" rims (from the Pete wrecker) seem like they are too small. The rim, w/o too much effort pops right thru the tire. Albeit, I did not have the outer ring on the rim/tire either.
3. Who has a nice aftermarket rim?
4. I bought two sets from a "rummage sale"...are these tires available retail?
T.I.A. everyone!!

If you paid less than $30.00 a set for them, you scored big! Unfortunately Clint has closed up shop, his stuff was always excellent! I can get you some similar tires and correct wheels, drop me a PM. As for an adhesive, (I assume you have the soft tires) thick cyanoacrylate type glue should do the job.

The Italeri tires are a bigger center hole. Only some of the AMT kits rims will work with them. The rims that will work with the Italeri tires are the ones that come in the Freightliner kits, Autocars, White Western Stars, or KW Aerodyne kits. (The kits with the Uniroyal tires because they are a bigger tire). The Pete kits and most of the other AMT kits that are issued with the 10x20 goodyears are smaller and the rims are to small for the Italeri tires. Also the Ertl 11x20's are of the small center hole so they won't work as well. The reason I say the Italeri tires is most of Clint Freemans I've seen were molded from them.

Thanks for the help! I guess I did do o.k. then. I bought two sets of front flotations, or they could pass for super singles, for $10 plus $6 for shipping. Sourkraut, yes, I will pm you shortly... Bruce

Back to my tire question. Thanks to sourkraut for the help too!
Where can I purchase " thick cyanoacrylate type glue " ?
If sourkraut cannot help me with rims, where can I purchase rims that would fit the Clint flotation tires? They will be going on the AMT Pete wrecker, the "snap on" type axles/hubs.... (is there a technical name for this type of axle?) not metal axles.

Clint's floation tires are made from the floation tire that is in the ERTL Paystar 5000 kit, with the tread from the Revell Pete wrecker floation tire. All of Clint Freeman's hiway tires were all cast from the Monagram snap kit tires. He made 3 different profiles. The full size tire right out of the kit. Next the 265/75R22.5, and the 265/70R22.5. Bruce if you have a Paystar kit you might try the front wheels out of that kit, if you have an Autocar dump truck kit those wheels would work too. Sorry I don't have any I could send you.
