I need some help to figure out how best to form this ladder and the grab rail on top of the roof. The grab rail is not attached to the ladder having a small gap between the end of the railand the start of the ladder. Thought about superglue or soldering wire and thin brass strip. I have not had much luck with super glue before and have no idea how to solder. | Any help greatly appreciated. Nige :-? :-? :-?

Your best bet would be to use Styrene rod (evergreen)...just soak in hot water to bend it.

Thanks Dan
Trying to get my head round holding and glueing such thin pieces as well as making it robust as this area likely to take knocks if I am making the lifting gear posable.

Drill holes in your cab where the ladder will start using your pin vise Then fit test the holes bend the rod as Dan indicated go back and put small pieces of rod in place where the tee's are

It looks like you glue two or three thin strips of brass around the wire but not glued to the wire itself. I suppose you then glue the brass strips to the door or hatch and to whatever forms the structure that the door or hatch is on then trim the ends of the wire.
I suppose it would be two or three strips per hinge depending what type of hinge.
