When I finished assembling my frame,I thought the same thing you are.My solution was to make a wedge from the rear to almost touching the fifth wheel. They are almost as high as the fifth wheel when sitting in the flat position.I used an old mud flap for my material.I also used a cross member at the very rear of the frame. These ramps really improve the look.I don't have a camera,so I can't show them.

By chance do you have an extra cross member for the rear ? if so how much $
