I know it's not a Pete or a Kenworth or a Mack, but, believe it or not, I actually love building this kind of big rig. Having lived in England for 4 years, I got to see many of the European trucks such as Volvo, Daf, Man, and Scania. There are some pretty unique rigs over there, that's for sure. It took me 5 years to build this kit as I worked on it off and on for that time. I decided to weather the truck and I'm not sure if I went overboard on it or not. It wasn't uncommon to see trucks covered in dirt and dust like this in Europe. With the rainy climate in England it was commonplace to see these trucks covered in dirt and mud from hauling along narrow, country farm roads. I wanted to get the look of one well used work truck and not a trophy queen show truck. I definitely had fun building this kit, that's for sure. It's the Italeri kit that is now currently out of production. It's a box stock build with the excpetion of the weathering. I hope y'all enjoy the pics!

No the weathering is not over done, it looks just right. The one thing I would have done is have the windshield clean in the area of the wiper sweep. But that looks really good.

looks good the weathering finishes it off nicely, evn tho the wiper are is not masked maybe it was parked up on a dirt road overnight for his break and the other trucks rushing by had left the windscreen dusty, lol

LOL Seriously though, I was trying to get the look of a truck that had spent alot of time in the rural Outback or somewhere else where the rigs weren't spotless like many seem to be here in the U.S.
