I have this kit waiting to be built, and you make me not even want to attempt it, because I know it'll never look as good as yours.

Thanks for the compliment Tyson. Not everything is as good as it seems. I think I have already mentioned that the average pattern of my workflow is one step up and two steps back. Now with the back steps I had to get the radiator off and make a subtle change on it. Sometime I make modifications without thinking too much ahead. I couldn´t close the hood tight. What happened? I think you can guess by yourself. I raised the radiator a little to meet the axis of the engine fan. It also made the engine lean backwards which was cool. I also added the AC condenser in front of the radiator face. Plus, I made the hood inside details. All of that combined together blocked the hood and it did not shut. Well, here we go... By the time I write these lines the radiator is modified and back in frame. The hood doesn´t look too well inside but I´ll have to live with it. I didn´t take any pictures yet but I will when it is back on the frame. Jarda

nice work.Cant wait to see it finished.I would guess that the box behind the cab is for batterys as there are none on the frame rail sides like most petes

I guess you are right, Kevin. The box is too small for the winch and there is no room for a cable to go because the pogo stick blocks the way. The idea of a winch came to me due to the rails slide ends. That leaves the small box behind the cab a mystery to me. Jarda

That leaves the small box behind the cab a mystery to me. Jarda never noticed that until you mentioned it.I think its a cover for the battery cable connections for the boost terminals under the drivers door ???It could also be a series/parallel switch for the starter using 24 volts

Thanks for the info, Paul. Now the project is in the standstill because I need a set of Bill Signs decals for repairs. Does anyone have a spare sheet? Jarda

Did you try contacting Revell of Germany for replacement decals? I believe that you first replacement set is free; they'll charge you after that.

Hello
That is a masterpiece of scale modelling. I found that model on Czech forum one year ago, but google translation was quite poor. Anyway that time pictures impress me very much. Good luck with logging truck.
