Your 'rough' set up looks good so far. Is the pumper body from Scalerealism ?

Crash is right--it is the AMT body. Now to figure out what to do with the rest of the truck.

instead of shortening the frame....would the Paystar cab have worked on the amt firetruck frame? What was/is the original cab on the pumper?

here's the ALF pumper. Easier to shorten the frame in my opinion.

Good idea! Mind if I possibly "borrow" it? I have an unbuilt wrecker body too. I had planned on using it with my Paystar or a GMC c/o. But....now I may have to change my mind.

I've seen a few Paystar fire trucks running around and just wanted to do something else different again!!!! (tooo many paystar dumps and mixers on the shelf for the dumps and mixers). Not sure what I'm going to do with the ALF cab & frame, if anything.

I love the truck/tanker that mullet wants to do. I wish my town had one. They run small tankers cause there are no fire hydrants. They empty the truck, then run to the lake to fill it up again. Stuff burns down out here pretty quick and all the time.
Hey phoneguy that will be a great rig ,great for brush fires. I saw some of those in Yellowstone a few years ago fighting wildfires. I am sure they had a front drive axle on the ones they had cause they fit on the small fire trails and really could take on those hills. That will be a nice change to the small old kit blues. Nice Idea.........
