As usual for me, progress is slow (but steady), rear crossmember is Aerodyne kit part (actually one of the intermediate crossmembers) modified with cutout for king pin clearance when hooking/unhooking. Rear track rods are also modified Aerodyne kit parts, bracket and rod to side frame rail required only slight modification, long rod to main crossmember replaced with 1/16" styrene rod & tube:

Wow, I have never seen a rear end set up like this before.
Thanks for including photo's of the real rig.
Cheers.

72" spread on Hendrickson no less! Solid ridin' truck for sure! Another combination of resin & kit parts is used for rear brake chambers, kit backing plates & "slack adjuster" pieces are combined with excellent piggyback chambers from Plaskit. End of resin brake chamber needs to be drilled out 1/8" diameter to fit AMT kit part.

This one has been sitting for a while, with Labatt's rig completed work has resumed! Frame is well along, need to fit cab to frame for fitting items like stack brackets, need interior tub in place to fit cab, need interior trim pieces installed to fit interior tub, need windows in interior trim pieces to match windows in cab............the usual "which comes first, chicken or egg?" situtation. New windows have been laid out & cut in cab going by reference photos. Interior trim pieces cemented in place, next step will be to cut window openings in them. This will locate interior tub to allow fitting cab to frame. Hinges will be reworked as wider grille from Aerodyne kit to be used, I'm not too fond of the stock AMT "glue grille to cab, glue hinges to grille" hinge setup anyway.

Mocked up here, Aerodyne cab hinges adapted to K123 interior tub & frame with 1/16" styrene rod across frame and some filing on top side of hinges where they cement to interior. Plaskit 6 spoke wheels fitted all around.

Great work so far. What is the quality of the wheels? Any bubbles, broken rims or anything like that?

Good quality on the wheels, no broken rims, didn't notice any bubbles either. Nice thin section on rim edge.
