Thanks Jim! A disclaimer: This is NOT a rollover! Exhaust pipes roughed in using pieces of kit pipe from the 378 and 377 "donor" along with a short piece of 5/32" styrene tube to extend straight run. Lots of clean up and finish work to do on the exhaust pipe assembly now.

Thanks Ray, the last round of creative activity for this weekend (planets must have been aligned or something today, model didn't quite build itself but darn close! ), bumper installed. Guides are 3/64" brass rod with 1/16" x .006 brass tube mounting brackets and light sockets. Light lenses are stretched amber sprue (multiple tries Exhaust pipe in place. This one was really frightening with regard to how easily it came together. (Usually exhaust pipe fitting involves use of language not suitable for family viewing ) Rain cap & CB antennas in place. Cap was painted silver then given a couple coats of window tint (Pactra R/C paint) followed by Dullcote. Antennas are steel music wire painted white, red tips done by dipping in Testors dark red. I saw a how-to on painting prop tips in a book or magazine article a while back, same approach worked here to make both antenna tips same size.

(Usually exhaust pipe fitting involves use of language not suitable for family viewing ) Rob, you have a mouth like a 1/24 scale truck driver!!! For shame! ;D lol. Seriously, though, you've done some amazing details. Oh, and I noticed you imitated the lugnut covers with the amber reflective lenses. Nice touch.

Thanks Ray, yes I will admit to some moments in 1/24! All's well that ends well though! .005 shim brass used for headlight visors and base of bug deflector. (Clear portion will be added after painting) Rivet decals added along back of grille shell where it attaches to hood. Lug nut covers actually were easier to make than I had expected, Plastruct .060 hex rod was chucked in motor tool & taper filed in, then cut to length with the "Chopper" tool made by Northwest Short Line. After attaching them to wheel reflector made from .010 styrene using smallest punch in the Micro-Mark set. Wheel Alcladded then Tamiya clear orange used on reflector.

"Fiddly bits" here, white lights in back of cab and trailer air lines. Glad hands and trailer plugs are resin parts from Plaskit, lines are 24 gauge wire insulation. Loom is black electrical tape cut to width.

That is just amazing. The mirrors look really great. This is one of the highlight builds for me. Jarda

Thanks Jarda, one more small mirror made up for blind spot over passenger window. This is styrene strip, brass shim cut to width and some .025 styrene rivets. Drop of epoxy used to form convex portion. CVSA decal on vent window made using photo of real one (OK, it was a 2011 but only the "1" appears so we'll say it is 1991!), visor in place. Two more of those little .025 rivets use per side for visor attachment.

Reinforcing on inside of hood represented with .040 styrene, more of the .025 styrene rivets used for fastener detail where fender mud flaps attach. Next step is primer!

Half fenders over lead drive axle made from K&S .016 sheet aluminum with brass tube crossbar. They still need to be painted Alclad chrome.
